Transparent hiring math

What could your next hire cost?

Use your own salary, employer costs, recruiting, and guaranteed service inputs to compare a U.S. hire with an EaseClose placement of a Philippine-based remote specialist. Public EaseClose marketing language says up to 70% savings; your estimate below is calculated only from the inputs you provide.

EaseClose pricing guardrail

EaseClose does not position premium remote professionals below $1,000/month. The $1,000/month minimum is EaseClose's minimum starting guaranteed base/service-cost reference for premium remote professionals. It is not a universal rate, quote, ceiling, or suggestion that candidates accept less. Most suitable roles may start at this reference for candidates with approximately 2 to 4 years of experience; Tech defaults to $1,200/month. Sales and technical roles may be higher, with indicative examples around $3,000/month for sales and $5,000/month for technical engineering roles depending on role, specialization, and experience. These are illustrative, not ceilings or guarantees. Final rates vary by role, seniority, specialization, compensation structure, and experience.

Engagement structure determines the parties' responsibilities. The client pays any commission or other variable compensation directly under its own plan. Fixed-cost estimates below use the guaranteed monthly base/service cost and selected EaseClose service costs only; client-paid variable compensation/OTE is always separate and excluded.

Step 1 of 2

Build your estimate

Change any input to see how the estimate moves.

Your one-year and three-year totals multiply by this number of hires.

Sales professionals default to the $1,000/month guaranteed base/service-cost reference with separate client-paid sales variable compensation. Most suitable roles may start at this indicative reference for candidates with approximately 2 to 4 years of experience; Tech defaults to $1,200/month. These are indicative references, not universal rates, ceilings, limits, quotes, or guarantees.

Client plan context, not EaseClose pricing: a sales professional may pair the $1,000/month guaranteed base/service-cost reference with potential earnings around $2,500/month in client-paid variable compensation/OTE.

This variable compensation is paid directly by the client under its plan, is not EaseClose fixed service cost, and is excluded from every fixed-cost and savings calculation. A sales professional's guaranteed base/service-cost reference may be higher, with indicative examples around $3,000/month depending on role, specialization, and experience. These are illustrative, not ceilings, limits, quotes, or guarantees.

Pricing floor: EaseClose does not position premium remote professionals below $1,000/month. This is EaseClose's minimum starting guaranteed base/service-cost reference for premium remote professionals, not a universal rate, quote, ceiling, or suggestion that candidates accept less. Inputs below $1,000/month are reset to $1,000. Client-paid commissions, sales variable compensation, potential earnings, and OTE stay separate from this fixed-cost input and all calculations. Technical engineering roles may be higher, reaching approximately $5,000/month depending on role, specialization, and experience; exact rates vary by role, seniority, specialization, compensation structure, and experience.

U.S. employer cost method
30%
0%Maximum 50%

The 50% maximum is hard-capped. In BLS mode, the December 2025 benchmark replaces this generic load.

Optional itemized U.S. costs

Enter annual amounts per hire only when you want to model them. Itemized mode uses these checked costs instead of a percentage or BLS benchmark. No universal amount is assumed.

Generic mode: U.S. cost = salary + salary × selected overhead + selected recruiting cost. Optional itemized entries are not added in this mode.
Optional EaseClose services not included unless selected

Fractional Management already includes Hire Insurance, so the insurance option is disabled when management is selected.

Methodology

See what the math includes.

U.S. fully loaded cost

Salary + selected U.S. employer costs or overhead + optional annual recruiting cost per hire.

EaseClose first year

Guaranteed monthly base/service cost × 12 + $1,299 placement fee + selected Hire Insurance or Fractional Management.

Three-year view

The same inputs extended to 36 months. The $1,299 placement fee is counted once per hire; client-paid variable compensation is excluded.

BLS benchmark note

The December 2025 BLS private-industry benchmark lists benefits at 29.9% of total compensation. In benchmark mode, the calculator converts that share to total compensation as salary ÷ 70.1% and does not stack the benchmark on top of the generic 30% load. Benefits include paid leave, insurance, retirement/savings, legally required benefits, and supplemental pay.

Philippines statutory-cost context

These figures are informational context only, not automatic client obligations or additional EaseClose charges. Applicability depends on classification, contract, and applicable law. 13th month pay is at least 1/12 of annual basic salary (8.33% for a full year). PhilHealth 2025 is 5% of monthly basic salary with a PHP10,000 floor and PHP100,000 ceiling, normally shared by employer and employee. SSS follows the applicable MSC schedule plus EC. Pag-IBIG follows the current official HDMF schedule and cap. None of these statutory references sets the EaseClose monthly pricing floor.

Classification and tax treatment

Philippine statutory contributions such as SSS, Pag-IBIG, and PhilHealth may not be direct client obligations in every engagement. Responsibility depends on the worker’s classification, contract, and applicable laws. Payment method alone does not determine status. Consult qualified legal and tax advisers before structuring an engagement.

In a genuine independent-contractor arrangement, the Filipino professional/independent contractor is responsible for determining and lawfully handling their own Philippine tax and statutory contribution obligations, subject to applicable law and the actual EaseClose/client contract. The person may choose lawful payment and contribution methods, but the calculator does not advise evasion or bypassing taxes, contributions, or EaseClose’s contracting structure.

Paying through Wise or another payment platform does not itself determine legal classification or tax obligations. The correct IRS documentation, including whether Form W-8BEN is appropriate, depends on the engagement structure and classification. Have qualified legal and tax counsel verify the correct documentation and classification for the specific engagement.

Candidates are engaged directly by the Client under the applicable EaseClose service structure. The Client remains responsible for compliance with applicable laws, taxes, and insurance requirements. Paying a professional directly does not bypass the EaseClose/client contract or eliminate contractual obligations.

This calculator is educational only and is not legal, tax, employment, or classification advice. These notes do not replace EaseClose’s contracting process, service terms, or qualified legal and tax advice. Clients and professionals should use the applicable EaseClose service structure and review the governing agreement before proceeding.
